Starting in the Toronto creative industry as a prop stylist, Andrea's work has appeared on TV and in custom + consumer magazines such as Living Spree, BELLE, Style at Home, Canadian Family, Canadian Home and Country, House & Home, Toronto Life, Today's Parent and as the Home Editor for Chatelaine. With a Bachelor of Design in Fashion from Toronto's Ryerson University, Andrea continues to bring style and decor together, from new trends to old classics - and everything chic in between through set decoration for film, TV and commercials, art direction for retail and advertising, prop and lifestyle styling for editorial and custom publications and DIY project development.
Andrea specializes in set design + trend translation behind the camera. On camera, she shares DIY know-how, inspiring spaces and industry insight formerly as a guest designer on CBC's Steven & Chris, the Marilyn Denis show and other lifestyle programs.
Growing up in Newfoundland, Andrea sewed with her mother and made furniture to her own design with her father. In 2010 she brought this lifetime of making together, creating a collection of one-of-a-kind furniture under the brand RE:Style Studio. Each piece takes a fashion approach to furniture, reflecting trends on the runways and streets. RE:Style 'the Collection' features furniture made by hand with high quality fabrics and artisanal finishes. Limited edition collections are available through specialty boutiques and made to order with custom design services available.
Andrea has lent her maker and lifestyle editorial expertise for successful brand campaigns such as Renova's Red Label Canadian launch (2014), Egg Farmers of Canada Easter campaign (2014) and others.
